Hand painted in a uplifting lily of the valley design. Perfect for enjoying afternoon tea in the garden.
Lily of the valley is one of the floral symbols of Helston town in Cornwall and is worn by the dancers and people of the town when attending Helston Flora Day in May each year.
Flora Day has always been an important one in my calendar. We lived in Helston for a number of years and my youngest daughter was born there.
Made from fine bone china in Stoke on Trent, each piece is hand painted in my little wooden studio using traditional on glaze enamels.
This mug is a one-off piece
