Hand painted in a uplifting lily of the valley design. Perfect for enjoying afternoon tea in the garden this lidded sugar bowl makes a great storage pot or trinket dish.
Lily of the valley is one of the floral symbols of Helston town in Cornwall and is worn by the dancers and people of the town when attending Helston Flora Day in May each year.
Flora Day has always been an important one in my calendar. We lived in Helston for a number of years and my youngest daughter was born there.
Made from fine bone china, each piece is hand painted in my little wooden studio using traditional on glaze enamels.
Made in small batch production on limited runs, so catch them whilst you can.
