Hand painted in a uplifting lily of the valley design this sweet little trinket box has a flower painted in the base and makes a lovely addition to your flora day collection, to hold jewellery for the big day or can be used to hold wedding rings.
Lily of the valley is one of the floral symbols of Helston town in Cornwall and is worn by the dancers and people of the town when attending Helston Flora Day in May each year.
Flora Day has always been an important one in my calendar. We lived in Helston for a number of years and my youngest daughter was born there.
Made from fine bone china in Stoke on Trent, each piece is hand painted in my little wooden studio using traditional on glaze enamels.
